Steve Forrey, President of CENTURY 21 Everest Realty Group has broad analytical
and leadership experience in management consulting, organizational restructuring,
and legislative processes.
With a background spanning over three decades, his credentials include executive positions with Oregon Health Sciences University, a regional medical facility comprised of five schools, 2,000 students and 10,000 employees. He was charged with navigating the legislative process to take OHSU out of the State system and create a public corporation, enabling the University to sell bonds on Wall Street and to create a private insurance company allowing OHSU to provide insurance for its physicians and researchers. While with OHSU, Steve had oversight of the building of Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. He led the acquisition team that secured the Oregon National Primate Research Center, and also had oversight for the development of the Macadam Waterfront as well as the creation of the Portland Street Car and Macadam Tram.
In addition, Steve and his wife, Maribeth, provided leadership for a multinational organization that included parts of the United States, Canada, and Eastern Russia. He and Maribeth have been married for more than 42 years and are parents to four children and have 11 grandchildren.
Steve serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Heritage Grove Federal Credit Union and holds a Masters of Public Administration.
